Elder Ricky Williams Sr. and Evangelist Arlene Williams are the Pastors and Founders of Word of Faith Deliverance Church. The two have been married for 40 years and are the parents of four (3 daughters and 1 son) and are the grandparents of four and two great-grands.
Pastor Ricky Williams Sr. began ministry early as a college student leading bible study in the dormitory. He was a faithful and dedicated member serving under his former leader where he served as Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, Minister and Elder. Pastor Williams assisted in whatever capacity needed in ministry whether teaching, landscaping, cleaning the church and more. His heart has always been about ministering to the needs of God’s people. His motto was to make sure the ministry and man of God was taken care of whether it was spiritually, financially or physically.
Pastor Williams preaches and teaches the unadulterated gospel of Jesus Christ. He loves God with all his heart and has compassion and a love for God’s people. One of his main areas of ministry is Marriage. He is also known for encouraging others to treat others like you want to be treated.
Both Pastor Williams and Evangelist Williams graduated from Destiny School of Ministry under the directorship of Dr. Geraldine Eady. In February 2015, they received their honorary Doctorate of Divinity degree from the Rainbow School of Ministry in Alachua, FL under the leadership of Dr. Eliza B. Tate.
Evangelist Arlene Williams was a faithful and dedicated member serving under her former pastor. She served as Evangelist, Missionary, Praise and Worship (Devotional) Leader, Church Secretary, Youth Choir director, Director of Youth and Sunday School Teacher.
God has equipped Evangelist Williams to be a multi-faceted vessel. She serves in whatever capacity needed in ministry. She loves God with all of her heart, soul, mind and strength, and this is manifested as she labors to help feed and nourish God’s people. Evangelist Williams preaches the unadulterated Gospel of Jesus Christ; encouraging men, women, boys and girls to repent, receive salvation and to walk in the promises Jesus has made available to all that will accept him.
Both are dedicated servants of the Lord Jesus Christ.
